Friends of THS
This is an important group of partners to the school. The ‘Friends’ group comprises of parents of our students. They meet to raise funds for the school and plan events for the students to enjoy. Over the years they have contributed a vast amount to the development of the school in time, money and support.
In addition, they are a consultative group over issues that the school wants parental opinion on. Last year the Friends contributed to the discussion on uniform, behaviour policy, parents’ evenings and reports. They are always looking for new members and would be grateful for your support.

To become a member costs just £1 per month. With the membership fees collected, 50% will support FTHS fundraising aims of providing THS pupils with additional equipment, activities and amenities to support their wider education. The other 50% will be awarded in 3 cash prizes drawn at random each month.
The first draw will be held on 15th December 2009, therefore annual membership for 2009 / 10 will cost just £10, for which you will be issued a number. This will ensure you are included in each monthly draw up to and including September 2010. You are free to purchase as many chances as you wish each year.
